Our "Stay-Soft" mecate (AKA Hackamore Reins) is made of soft spun, 1/2" x 26' poly rope. This rope is extremely strong yet very supple and soft on the hands. The best thing about it is that it will stay soft even when dirty with horse sweat and mud.
